Powered by the River Ness
Everything we do has to be sustainable, and we've taken no shortcuts.
Our distillery is almost entirely powered by solar power and by water from Loch Ness, via our unique on-site sustainability centre, completely separate from the gas grid. This means we save over 250 tonnes of carbon each year, and take a significant step towards being Net-Zero.
We are very proud of our Highland heritage, and want to ensure that it remains beautiful for years to come.
At the core of our sustainability centre is our Water Source Heat Pump - an innovative system which is being supported by the Scottish Government's Low Carbon Infrastructure Transition Scheme.
It draws water from the River Ness and uses the naturally occurring heat contained in this water as a source for our heat pumps.
